Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida is the third largest cancer center in the United States, receiving about 250,000 outpatient visits and 7,000 admissions per year. With established excellence in clinical and basic research, as well as in cancer prevention and control, Moffitt has earned the elite designation of Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute, and is a member of the prestigious National Cancer Center Network. Moffitt Cancer Center participates in over 300 active clinical trials, and has an affiliate network of 15 Florida hospitals, one Georgia hospital and more than 400 community oncologists. The sole mission of Moffitt Cancer Center is to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer.
